Hi!

 

I’m Francesca, a freelance illustrator and animator moving between London and Italy.

I graduated from Kingston School of Art with a BA in Illustration Animation, and my work unfolds frame by frame, through 2D animation, character and visual design, fine art, illustration and reportage drawing.

Inspired by cinema, art history, nature, and real-life narratives, my practice explores emotion as something both intimate and universal. Through characters and visual storytelling, I navigate inner landscapes alongside the physical world, observing, collecting, and reassembling fragments of everyday life.

​

Away from the screen and drawing desk, I spend time drawing on location, documenting people and places through reportage drawing, photographing fleeting details, and losing myself in graphic novels, always searching for the next frame.
